Product Description

GCS Low Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear Cabinet

The GCS low voltage withdrawable switchgear (also known as power distribution cabinet) is jointly developed by leading domestic design institutes and switchgear manufacturers. It meets the evolving needs of the power market with superior technical performance indicators, suitable for large-capacity power users requiring extensive power supply reliability ?? including power plants, metallurgy, mining, petrochemical, transportation, logistics, and high-rise buildings.

Standards Compliance

  • IEC439-1 “Low-voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment”
  • GB7251 “Low-voltage Switchgear”
  • ZBK36001 “Low-voltage Withdrawable Switchgear”

Key Parameters

  • Main Busbar Rated Voltage (V): AC 380(400), 660
  • Auxiliary Circuit Rated Voltage (V): AC 220, 380(400); DC 110, 220
  • Rated Frequency (Hz): 50(60)
  • Rated Insulation Voltage (V): 660(1000)
  • Rated Current (A): Horizontal bus ??4000, Vertical bus (MCC) 1000
  • Busbar 3s Withstand Current (kA/s): 50, 80
  • Busbar Peak Withstand Current (kA/s): 105, 176
  • 1min Power Freq Withstand Voltage (V/min): 2500
  • Arc Test: 1760A, Three-phase 500ms
  • Three-phase Five-wire System Protection: IP30, IP40

Structural Features

  • Frame made of 8MF profile steel with modular bolt-and-weld hybrid structure; mounting hole pitch E=20mm.
  • Functional compartments fully separated: busbar room, function unit room, cable room, with independent functions.
  • Standard dimension series (single unit, mm): Height 2200, Width 400*600*800*1000, Depth 800*1000*800*1000*600*800*1000.
  • Drawer height modulus 160mm (see diagram 9-10). Unit sizes: 1/2-unit, 1-unit, 1.5-unit, 2-unit, 3-unit ?? five specifications. Single-return drawer rated current ??400A and below.
  • Drawer units vary in height with identical depth and width; same-function drawers have good interchangeability.
  • Each GCS cabinet???ɰ?×° 11?? 1-unit drawers or 22?? 1/2-unit drawers. One unit above uses busbar for multi-functional outlet.
  • Drawer outgoing lines use current transformers of different ratios in uniform plug-in connector format.
  • 1/2-unit drawer and cable chamber connections use rear ZJ-2 type connectors.
  • Unit drawer and cable chamber transfer current shunts use identical size plug-in or ZJ-1 type connectors. Connector outer surfaces have distinct markings for division, testing, and withdrawal position identification.
  • Drawer units have mechanical interlock devices.
  • Function unit compartments feature dedicated cable channels connecting drawer unit chambers and cable chambers internally via transfer pieces. Reliable transfer mechanism ensures convenient installation, maintenance, and replacement. Maximum overall dimensions: 240(H)??440(W)??400(D)mm. Available for field use, TV monitoring, and user-side installation and maintenance convenience.
  • Function unit terminal blocks support ??32 terminals for single units and above; 1/2-unit provides ~20 terminals, meeting automated user and computer interface needs.
  • Considering general-purpose transformer safety and oil-immersed transformer characteristics, the device can be arranged in a row equivalent to dry-type transformer groups, also usable for oil-immersed transformer step-down wiring.
  • Based on cabinet main body, simultaneously featuring withdrawable type and fixed type designs, allowing mixed combinations for flexible selection.
  • Device uses three-phase five-wire or three-phase four-wire system design; doors and users can conveniently select PE+N or PEN methods.
